Chapter 4: Missing Lawyer Interrogation Room Jack: Would you like me to spell
out his name for you? We know you are in cahoots with Alfonso Del Marco so tell us what you know. Who’s A.J and where
can we find him? D: Look you’re not the guy
we want, Morgan. But if we can’t get Del Marco then I guess you’ll be his fall guy. Jack: Make no mistake Morgan there
are no guarantees where you’re going. We have a nice orange jumpsuit waiting for you. D: Let me remind you that we put word on the street saying that you already gave up Del Marco when you cut a deal with us. So if word reaches Del Marco before your trial date, I mean we would do our best to protect you but…I think you get the picture. After the interrogation of Greg Morgan, the team learns that A.J. was on Del Marco’s payroll. Alan Jenkins was a lawyer who used to work over at Sanford & Chase Law Firm. Morgan told them that Del Marco and Jenkins had some kind of falling out and bingo A.J. turns up dead. Jack’s team is now looking for Del Marco’s henchmen, Bernardo and Baldovino. Morgan informs them about Giuseppe Del Marco and Carlos Del Marco.
Bobby: It didn’t take long
for Greg Morgan to flip on Alfonso Del Marco. And it looks like his story checks out. Myles: Yeah. We’re in the
process of finding Biscotti 1 and 2, a.k.a. Del Marco’s henchmen. Tara: And I’m checking out
Sanford & Chase Law Firm. See if there are red flags we should know
more about. Jack: Good idea. If Morgan is right,
there could be a slew of problems with Alan Jenkins’s work ethics and trial cases he won. Every case that Alan Jenkins
had worked on will have to be reviewed. Judges, defense attorneys, and district attorneys will all have to testify to the
merits of each case file. Myles: Sanford & Chase could be a front for Del
Marco shady business deals. Jack: Tara, did the cops ever find
Alan Jenkins body? (raise eyebrows) Tara: I don’t think they were
aware that Alan Jenkins was dead. I mean we are talking about the mob. They could easily dispose of the body and no one would
be the wiser. Emma: What’s going on? Can
I help with the case? I put Jenny down for a nap. Tara: Do you know anything about
Sanford & Chase Law Firm? Sue: Anything you can tell us would
be good. Emma: MJR Consulting uses them all the time
to handle business acquisitions, mostly on the European holding companies that are listed under MJR. That’s all I know. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help.
Jack: We are working on solving
the other half of the puzzle. Just hang in there. I know it’s hard. I promise this will be over soon. (smile)
