Chapter 29: Honeymoon
Begins
Honeymoon "Bed Of Roses"
Suite, Paradise Island, Bahamas-Nassau
This
was the ultimate newlywed hideaway with white loveseat, wet bar, fireplace, heart-shaped hot tub, and King size bed. French
doors leads to a private balcony offering a spectacular oceanfront view. After the bellman dropped off their suitcases and
Jack locked their suite.
Very
slowly Jack ran his hand along her cheek, then cupped the back of her head and lowered his mouth to hers. His arms went around
her, pulling her into his embrace. Then he kissed the curve of her neck and lingered there for a moment,
sending shivers down her spine. Sue encircled her arms around his neck and her lips found his. Jack kissed her tenderly and
passionately.
Once
again he made her fall in love with him just like the first time, every time. She fitted exactly right into his arms as if
she had been made for him. And they tumbled backward onto the bed, their lips sealed together. As he pressed his lips against
the hollow of her throat, he heard her breath quicken. He kissed her eyes, chin, neck, and back to her lips again.
Jack
kissed her slowly, gently, and endlessly until the world faded away and there was nothing but the two of them. He looked into
her eyes and laced his fingers with hers. This was something new, she never experienced before.
Then
Jack showed her paradise, he took her to places she hadn’t even suspected existed. And in the afterglow, Jack held her
in his strong arms and they both fell asleep.
Jack
wakes up early the next day and orders breakfast. He looks over at Sue and kisses her forehead. Jack clad in his boxer shorts
and Sue still sound asleep cover with a sheet around her. When Sue wakes up, she could only stare at his chiseled chest and
her mouth went dry.
Jack: Wake up, sleepyhead. It’s a beautiful morning,
Mrs. Hudson. (megawatt smile)
Sue: Good morning, Mr. Hudson. Is that breakfast I smell?
(radiant smile)
Jack: Yes. I figured you would be hungry. After breakfast
we can decide what you want to do today. (megawatt smile and his signature wink)
Sue: Nice to be asked. Whatever my husband wants to do
is fine with me. (radiant smile and teases Jack)
Jack: Well, in that case how about we spend all day in
bed. We’ll go sightseeing tomorrow or the next day or sometime before we have to leave this island. (megawatt smile
and raise eyebrows)
Sue: One question, you didn’t open the door without
first putting on your shirt, did you? (radiant smile and teases Jack)
Jack: I always put on my shirt when I answer the door,
except when I’m with you. Now where we were? (megawatt smile, teases Sue, and his signature wink)
Sue: Good to know. We are about to have breakfast unless
you have something else in mind. I am open to suggestion. (lighthearted smile and teases Jack)
Jack: As a matter of fact I do have a suggestion. I have an irresistible need to kiss my wife. (megawatt smile and his signature wink)
And then he did just that. Jack pressed a single, soft kiss to her shoulder. Lifting
her hair away from her neck, he pressed another kiss there. Sue felt his lips curving into a smile as he kissed her. Sue caressed
his cheek and brushed her lips over his. Jack drew back so they could catch their
breaths and eat breakfast.
Once breakfast was done, he pulled her onto the bed and brought his mouth down on hers. He
kissed her long, slowly, and deeply. She
wanted the kiss to go on forever. He framed her face with his hands and kissed her again. The next heartbeat he was holding
her against him.
Everywhere he touch ignites more desire for her husband. His hand cupped the back of her neck
and he claimed her mouth once more. Her heart did a somersault as he deepened the kiss. She rested
her hand against his chest and traced the sculpted muscles in his arms and six-pack abs. He led her to the top of a mind-blowing precipice and waited for her. And they spent a fantastic
day at the hotel.
First, thing next morning; they went jogging along the edge of the water and later went swimming.
Sue was stretched out on a blanket; with the sun warm against her back. Jack clad in his navy swim trunk, he went swimming in the ocean. He was having fun
and thought of an idea to get Sue in the water. In a flash, he appeared beside her and kissed her cheek.
Jack: Come on, join me for a swim.
I’m lonely out there all by myself. (megawatt smile)
Sue: But the ocean’s cold. I’m not going in
there. (smile)
Jack: The water temperature is fine. You’ll love
it once you get in. I promise. (megawatt smile and his signature wink)
Sue: Oh, no. I know that look. You’re up to something,
sweetheart. (smile and laughs)
